Abode Wharf Fit

Cleat flow on the jig

Four phases move from intake notes to marked bolts you can trust at home.

Cleat flow on the jig

How we work

Intake ride notes

You describe hotspots, recent bike changes, and weekly distance before we unbox tools.

Static capture

We photograph your current contact points and measure reach and drop on the jig.

Dynamic passes

Short pedal intervals reveal hip rock and knee tracking; we nudge one variable at a time.

Mark & notes

Final numbers go on a printed card and stem/saddle marks so home tweaks stay honest.

Tools on the bay

Microfiber cloths on fit bench
Clean contact points
Alignment markers and cloths
Alignment kit
Handlebar tape and stem bolts
Bar and stem kit

Cleat rotation is marked with a fine pencil before bolts torque down, so a second pass can undo one degree without guessing.

Saddle tilt is checked with a digital level on the jig rails, not by eye across a busy workshop floor.

Bar reach changes happen after saddle height locks; reversing that order wastes the session on chasing elbow bend.

We wipe laser targets between riders so dust does not fake a misalignment on dark frames.

Shoe walk tests catch hotspots that only appear when you unclip and push the bike in a hallway.
